The fourth album from this band from Germany.
The band was a trio with a lineup of percussion, guitar, piano, organ, mellotron, electronics and voice.
My exploration of electronic prog and the albums from this band continues....
Atem is a pretty short album, clocking in at forty-six minutes. It has four compositions and it opens with the twenty minutes long title track. The other compositions are far shorter.
That does not mean this is easy listening stuff. It is dark and moody stuff.
There is some sounds from the great nature here and that is the main difference from the previous album Zeit.
The quality is decent enough but this album has not really converted me into becoming a fan of this band and genre.
I am really struggling with their albums...
