The eight album from this band from Norway.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, violin, mandolin, clavinette, piano, organ, keyboards, minimoog and vocals.
Numerous guests added woodwinds, strings, piano and organ.
You never really know what this band comes up with on each album. Their basis is some form of psych rock. And from this basis, the band strikes out in all directions.
In the case of this forty minutes long album, we are talking late 1950s and early 1960s pop music.
The music is sugar sweet at times. It is more developed and slightly more psych rock than what The Beatles did on their first two albums. It is pretty similar to what they did on Rubber Soul and onwards.
The music sugary melodic and slightly cheesy throughout.
It is a funny album but it is still a bit short on quality.
The result is an album somewhere between decent and good. But it is still an interesting album from a very interesting band.
