The seventh album from this band from Austria.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
Two guests added keyboards.
This album was given to me by a workmate as she thought Nightwish was proper progressive rock.
This is Visions Of Atlantis from Austria though but their music is in the same vein as Nightwish.
That means a mix of symphonic metal and heavy metal. The vocals are mostly female vocals but with some supporting male vocals.
The music is pretty melodic on this one hour long album. It is also formula heavy metal based. It offers me no surprises at all.
The band is doing a good job. The music is not bad at all. It is a decent album. It gives the symphonic and heavy metal fans what they both expect and want.
It is a decent album indeed. Nevertheless, this band is not for me.
