Galifi. Stefano Lupo - Dei Ricordi, Un Museo (2021)

The so far only solo - album from this artist from Italy.

Stefano Lupo Galifi did the vocals on this album.

He got help from some guests who provided drums, bass, guitars, piano, keyboards, flute and backing vocals.

Stefano Lupo Galifi was the vocalist is some Italian bands, including Museo Rosenbach and my favourite new RPI band Il Tempio Delle Clessidre. His vocals on their self-titled 2010 album is stunning and so is that album, the best RPI album since the 1970s.

Hence, I am admirer of his vocals and rate him as the best ever vocalist in that scene. He is also in the top five of all progressive rock vocalists.

The music on this album is mid-tempo classic RPI with references to both the above mentioned bands, Banco and PFM.

His vocals is as always stunning. Stunning vocals does not necessary make a good album.

In this case, the songs on this fifty minutes long album is quirky and very good. This is classic, classic RPI and unashamed so.

The music is also very good throughout. My only gripe is that the songs could have been better and a bit more dynamic. That is just a minor, minor gripe I have with this very good album.
