The second album from this band from Germany.
The band was a trio with a lineup of percussion, drums, bass and bass.
Their debut album impressed me with some strong Middle East and Arabian influences. I was therefore hoping for the same on the follow up album, their second album.
The band is still space rock merchants. There are some post-rock influences here too.
The Middle-East and the Arabic influences has gone though. So has the few vocals.
The space rock here is gentle and pastoral. It is almost like desert rock.
There is still a lot of quality in their music although the elements from their debut album is missed.
The Spacelords has just gone in another direction this time and that is not a bad thing.
The result is somewhere between decent and good. It is a bit of a disappointment. Nevertheless, this is an interesting space rock band.
