The debut album from this band from USA.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
Bloodrock as a pretty popular US hard rock band who then later moved to progressive rock and jazz.
I recently got their six studio albums and will review them this summer.
This album has been described as a proto-metal album in magazines like Rolling Stones. I am not so sure about the metal elements here...
The music is heavy but it is still rooted in US country, southern rock, soul and blues. Even folk rock. It has this USA rock scene feel.
The music is muscular, bold and pretty good. The good vocals helps off course.
The quality is somewhere between decent and good.
This is an earthly heavy rock album and one to check out.
