Genre - Commercial Success (1978)

The one and only album from this band from USA.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.

This album sold nothing and remained an obscure album until someone re-discovered it and gave it some digital distribution. It is now regarded as a hidden gem from the US fusion and jazz scene. It has still to see a proper re-release though. Hopefully, this will soon happens.

The music is pretty fast and technical fusion. Fusion with a lot of funk and jazz influences.

The guitarist is very inspired by Jimi Hendrix. The rest of the band sounds like Return To Forever.

The result is like Return To Forever with a guitarist. The balance between the keyboards and the guitars are really good and both deliver some good solos. Some of the guitar solos are done by a half-acoustic guitar.

The sound is really good. The four musicians does a very good job. The eight compositions are really good here too.

The result is a good album and indeed a hidden gem in the scene. One who deserve a re-release.
