Chamaeleon Church - Chamaeleon Church (1968)

The one and only album from this US band.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, sitar, guitars, piano and vocals.

This band only released one album. But some of the band members went onto better things. The vocalist Chevy Chase went on to becoming one of USA's best and most famous comedians. 

The other members joined Ultimate Spinach who released some albums. Albums I have reviewed in # 2 of this blog.

The year is 1968 and The Beatles was big. So was the hippie culture.

The music is a mix of the more banalities of The Beatles and psych rock. 

The music is very much what to expect.... from 1965. OK, the sitar adds some hippies and psych rock elements.

A couple of the songs are rather decent and the sitar is a nice addition. 

There is nothing much to enjoy on this album and this album has only some historical value.
