The fifth album from this band from Norway.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, piano and vocals.
The band had some help from numerous guests who added vibraphone, theremin, pandeiro, guitars, violin, mellotron, clavinet, organ, piano, keyboards, narration and vocals.
When I decided to review all the Motorpsycho albums, I was aware of that this ride/task was going to be a difficult one. Something they proved with the imposible-to-review fourth album The Tussler.
Blissard takes us at least back to more familiar psych rock terrain again.
Take some psych rock and add both garage rock and indie rock. The add some electronica at the end of the album.
The music is slightly light and fluffy. The psych rock here has this garage rock feel too.
The vocals is good and the band does a good job on some not so good stuff. The quality is somewhere between decent and good. I am not won over but I am still looking forward to continue this journey.
