The debut album from this band from Norway.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass and guitars.
This band has so far released seven albums and I got three of them up for review this autumn. I am looking into getting the rest of them too.
No, this is not country'n'western. This is jazz.
Well, raw and harsh jazz with some metal and eclectic prog influences.
Most of the music is very harsh jazz with a lot of dissonance and avant-garde ideas. There are also some pastoral pieces here.
This album is long.. fifty minutes long and it takes this forum of power trio jazz to it's limits. I would say, almost too long. Nevertheless, this is a decent album which has not set the world on fire.
If dissonant raw jazz is your thing....
