Solstice - Light Up (2022)

The seventh album from this band from UK.

The band is a sextet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, violin, keyboards and vocals.

The band album debuted in 1984 with the Silent Dance album. The releases has been infrequent since that year. But we are now at number seven.

The band has always been regarded as a neo-prog band. The second wave of british neo-prog bands is what they are a member of.

The music on Light Up is a mix of neo-prog and sunny folk prog.

The music is melodic. Jess Hollands vocals are great. I also very much liked the band founder Andy Glass guitars. Both the more subtle guitars and the guitar solos.

The result is a good album. It is not their best album but it is still an album who will please their fans.

Check out this album !
