The debut album from this Norwegian band.
The band is a trio with a lineup of guitars, bass, synths and drums.
The band consists of members of Enslaved and Ulver.
It is also a very big step away from what Enslaved and Ulver has done previously.
The music is best described as psychedelic progressive melancholia as the webmag Metal Injection labeled the music as. I agree.
There is some jazz here too. But the half-acoustic music is melancholic and a bit gloomy.
I did not expect this music from these guys. The music on this forty minutes long album is a pleasant surprise and a pleasant aural experience.
The music is very good and this album comes as one of the biggest positive surprises of the year.
Check out this album.
