The second album from this band from Australia.
The band is a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, steel guitars, ukulele, mandolin, guitars and vocals.
Some guests added organ, cello, vocals and spoken words.
I got this album as a link from a promoter and I have not had the chance to hear their 2021 album Sentimentalism. Both of them are Bandcamp and CDs albums.
The music on this fifty minutes long album comes across as a blend of Radiohead and Gazpacho.
The songs are on average somewhere between three and four minutes long. Some of them are pretty poppy and punchy too. Others are laidback pastoral.
Half of the songs are good and the rest is decent.
This is an album for those who likes a mix of pop music and some more pastoral proggy music.
