The second and so far latest album from this band from USA.
The band was trio with a lineup of guitars, keyboards and vocals.
A handful of guests added bass, drums and female vocals.
The band album debuted back in 2013 and Byob is the follow up album.
The music on this album is not easy to describe. I would describe it as quirky.
That means a mix of vaudeville rock, college rock, jazz, US symphonic progressive rock, Canterbury prog and eclectic prog.
The music is melodic. But is not linear melodic. It jumps sideways and make detours during the melodies. Quirky, the music is.
The female vocals is good and ditto for the guitars.
This is a good album and quite a refreshing one too. This band knows how to have fun with music and this album is indeed a life loving album. Life loving, the American way.
