Dunnery. Francis - Vampires (2016)

The 10th album from this British artist.

Francis Dunnery did the guitars and vocals himself. His four piece band also included drums, bass and keyboards.

Francis Dunnery has cooperated with a lot of progressive rock bands and artists since the end of the 1980s. His debut solo album was released in 1991 and I should get more of his solo albums.

He was also a founding member of The Syn who released some albums at the beginning of this century. That was a psych rock band.

Vampires is a double CD, lasting one hundred minutes.

The music is a mix of rock and neo-prog.

The music is melodic and based on songs. The songs are pretty short and catchy. The final track is a fifteen minutes long opus.

The music is OK and not particular bad. Some songs are decent and some are good. It is not too taxing on the head as there is not many quirky, good details here.

It is an OK album but nothing more than that.
