The debut album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a one-man-band on this album where Danny Murgatroyd did the bass, guitars, drums, keyboards and vocals.
One guest added trumpet here.
In my quest to review prog related music, I sometimes find bands who are at best on the fringes of being progressive rock.
This band are a good example.
This band released two albums. Both of them are up for reviews here. This album is at least very much on the fringes of art and progressive rock.
Take some vaudeville and indie rock, add some whimsical pop and some funk. This is somewhere near what you get on this half an hour name-your-price Bandcamp album.
There is a lot of half-acoustic guitars here and a lot of good vocals.
Some of the music is mindless noise and pretty much a waste of time. The more melodic stuff here are decent enough.
This album is a half-decent album and well worth checking out as it is a free download. That is... if you like whimsical indie pop.
