The 10th album from this German band.
The band was a sextet on this album with a lineup of drums, percussion, tabla, bass, guitars, sitar, piano, organ, keyboards, woodwinds, strings, screams and vocals.
Numerous Indian instruments and percussion also added their sounds to this album.
You never really know what you get with this band. A band who always stretched the envelope. They were mainly a krautrock band but they also sought inspirations from Africa and Asia.
This time, they have more or less made an Indian subcontinent album. Yes, music from India, Nepal and Pakistan.
There is some krautrock here too with one hard rocking song. But most of this seventy minutes long album is Indian subcontinent percussion dominated.
The result is actually a good album and one of their better albums. An album I will remember this band by and will act as their signature in my album collection.
Check out this good album.
