The debut album from this Norwegian-Swedish band.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and keyboards.
This band released two albums under this name before they changed name to Matz Nilsson & Hawk On Flight.
The band was a fusion band. A true fusion band in the same vein as Weather Report, Return To Forever and Miles Davis. Though without the woodwinds. Hence, the band very much sounds like Weather Report.
The music is laidback and the bassist is the star here. There is a lot of interesting details on this three quarters of an hour long album.
This and their second album, which I have just ordered, has been re-released on CD, the NAK series and is well worth checking out.
This is indeed a good, solid fusion album.
