The 15th album from this band from England.
The band was a quintet on this album with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, flute and synths.
Ozric Tentacles from Brighton, the south coast of England, have had a pretty busy and interesting career before they released this album.
Their previous two albums had been pretty techno and ambient albums. So more of the same....
No. The nice thing about this band is that they have found a formula wide enough to vary their musical outputs.
The band returns to a more organic sound on this album. A warmer sound with some melody lines and lots of guitars.
This is also a side of this band they used a lot in the beginning of their career.
The band has even incorporated some Middle East feel and sounds on this album.
The quality of the music on this three quarters of an hour long album is good. The melody lines and the details is good and the band cement their status in my home as a band to follow.
