The debut album from this band from Sweden.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, mandolin, guitars, bouzouki, mandola, harp, tin whistle, recorder, dulcimer, keyboards, mallets and vocals.
Three guests added their narration, accordion and harmonica.
This band released four albums before they split up. But an EP was released last year so there may be some hope for some more albums.....
Their music is a mix of Swedish symphonic prog, folk rock and eclectic prog.
The music is really bold and epic at times. It is still very Swedish with a lot of Kaipa references.
The vocals are very good too.
It is obvious why this band is regarded as one of the best Swedish prog bands ever and I am really looking forward to listen to and review their other three albums.
This is indeed a good album and a more than acceptable debut album.
