The third album from this band from Sweden.
The band is an eight piece big band with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
This band album debuted in 1997 and included the likes of Roine Stolt back then. That album was followed up by their second album in 2005 and Roine Stolt had left the band by then.
Both albums was critical failures and I therefore did not expect to see or hear anything more from this band. But I was wrong...
The thin female vocals here reminds me about dream pop vocals. Ditto for the music and sound who are a crossover between dream pop and art-rock. The music reminds me a bit about the last albums from Beggar's Opera.
The music is not particular complex or proggy. There are some rather good guitar solos here.
The music is rather pedestrian too. The music is not too bad as there are some good things here.
This is their best album so far.
