Limite Acque Sicure - Un'Altra Mano Di Carte (2025)

The second album from this band from Italy.

The band is a sextet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, harp, flute and vocals.

The band returned again after a three years long break.

Their 2022 self-titled debut album is a very good album as I found out when I reviewed it in this blog back in December 2022.

Their music is RPI in the same vein as Banco Del Muteo Soccoroso. The band did indeed start out as a Banco Del Muteo Soccoroso tribute band before they started to write their own stuff. The 2022 album then followed on Minotauro Records in Italy. A label who also released their new album.

The music on this fifty minutes long album is melodic, still pretty epic RPI. Yes, Banco Del Muteo Soccoroso is again a good reference.

The band and their mix of female and male Italian vocals still have an original sound and is by no means copy-cats or too much influenced by these giants from the 1970s RPI scene.

The music is clever, quirky and melodic too. The vocals is great and the band does a great job.

There is no real killer tracks here. Nevertheless, this a very good album with lots of interesting, very good details.

This is surely one of the best RPI bands in today's scene.
