Omnia - Hormonal (2003)

The second and final album from this band from Argentina.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards, programming, piano and vocals.

A guest played flute on one of the tracks.

Symphonic prog from Argentina has a good reputation and I jumped on the chance to review their two albums.

The debut album Ultimo Generador De Equilibrio from 2000 was a decent album. The music was not too far away from being symphonic prog either.

The music is far more symphonic on this album. There are some ELP like stuff on this album.

There are still a lot of heavy prog and some neo-prog bordering to Latin American pop music here. Add some fusion too and you get the album.

The result is another decent album from this band. A band I would not rate among the greats from the scene in Argentina. But they tried their best.
