The 28th album from this artist from Great Britain.
Steve Hackett did the guitars, charango, oud and some vocals.
He was helped by some guests who added percussion, drums, bass, keyboards, saxophone, clarinet, dutar, tar, violin, viola and vocals.
I have in my reviews ignored Steve Hackett's neo-classical and acoustic guitars albums. Like the Under a Mediterranean Sky, his 27th album, which I do find too uninteresting to review and even give a proper listen.
So it is back to his prog rock albums. Like this one.
Steve Hackett has reigned back the amount of guests here. Ditto for the sound. It is not as much Indian subcontintent sounding as the previous prog rock album At The Edge Of Light.
There is still a lot of Middle-East influences here. These has been paired up with influences from the good old English music tradition...... For example Genesis, his old band. There is also a lot of neo-classical influences here. That comes across in the female vocals choir and vocals.
The result is a good album and one he can be happy about. He and his many fans should be happy about this album.
