Dillinger - Don't Lie To The Band (1975)

The second and final album from this band from Canada.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, accordion, keyboards, saxophones, flutes and vocals.

Their debut album was an album that included a lot of genres. Psych rock, rock, symphonic progressive rock and some hard rock, that is.

So the band must have thought we can expand on this and even include some soul, blues and folk rock. Which they have on this, their second album.

The main two genres are symphonic prog and hard prog.

The vocals is good and the band sounds more coherent in what they are doing.

There is also some good songs here and the band's output went up one level when it comes to quality.

This is an obscure album who deserve to be heard and liked by the progressive rock fans.

Check out this good album.
