The sixth album from this artist from Sweden.
Tomas Bodin did the kazoo, keyboards, percussion and backing vocals in a quartet big band who also included drums, percussion, bass, guitars and lead vocals from Michael Stolt.
They again were helped out by numerous guests providing guitars, cello, woodwinds, backing vocals and narrations.
I guess this is one of the band constellations Tomas Bodin did throughout his career. His new album is indeed a band constellation and I will review that album later this month.
The album starts out as a The Tangent album and then takes of in the direction of Neal Morse and The Flower Kings.
US symphonic prog meets Scandinavian symphonic prog in other words.
This seventy-seven minutes long album got some long songs, the longest one topping out at twenty-two minutes and some shorter ones.
The vocals is very good and this album has some very good music.
This album is in short a modern US and Scandinavian symphonic prog feast.. indeed a fest and a smorgasboard.
It is a very good album in it's own right and the best Tomas Bodin album so far.
