The third album from this band from USA.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
I am continuing my reviews of all their albums. Seven albums, that is.
Elder is a very active band on the tour scene. They had a breakthrough with this album... sort of a breakthrough. Even I became aware of them.
Their music is a mix of stoner rock, space rock and psych rock. The music is not as fiendish cold as stoner rock and it has adopted some of the warmth of from the space rock.
The music is pretty epic too. Epic and bold.
It is also pretty melodic, despite of it being a bit harsh and heavy.
The vocals is good and the music is very complex at times too.
The result is a good album and one to check out.
