The sixth album from this artist from Great Britain.
Tim Bowness did the ukulele, synths and vocals himself here.
He got help from numerous guests who added drums, percussion, bass, guitars, vibraphone, dianatron and backing vocals.
His first five albums is a mix of singer/songwriter, art rock and progressive rock albums.
His 2015 album Stupid Things.... was pretty much a pretty much a fully blown neo-prog album. He has since then retreated back to a more simple musicial sound and soundscape.
Late Night Laments is a forty minutes long minimalistic singer/songwriter album based on his vocals, a sparingly use of instruments and some electronica.
The quality is somewhere between decent and good throughout. This is not his finest hour but it is still worth checking out.
