The fourth album from this band from USA.
The band is a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
Forever Twelve is a US neo-prog band whose music is sometimes crossing into symphonic prog.
Ten years or so ago, I reviewed their 2010 album Taking Forever for # 1 of this blog and was not particular impressed.
Seven years has gone from recording that album and the band is back, a bit slimmer too. Gone is the female vocals.
There is not much change besides of getting a new vocalist. A male vocalist, this time. The music is still a bit of US neo-prog with a lot of symphonic prog influences.
The band does a lot of the right things on this album. The sound is good and there is some good details here.
The quality of the song writing leaves something to be desired and this album is falling a bit short when it comes to good songs.
Collecters of US prog should check out this band.
