Drifting Sun - Forsaken Innocence (2021)

The seventh album from this multi-national band.

The band is a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

Three guests provided violin, guitars and organ.

This band has been around since 1996. Two of the members relocated to UK from France and this band is now a French-English band.

Neo-prog is the genre on all their previous six albums.

That is also the case here. There are a lot of French and Continental-Europe influences in their music too.

There is also some gothic and more opera influences in their music and this album is pretty dark.

The music is still melodic with some good vocals and guitars.

The music is rather good too on this seventy minutes long album. It is not their best album but it is still an album well worth checking out.

That also goes for their previous six albums. This is indeed a good band who deserve a lot more attention.
