The second album from this band from England.
The band is a duo with a lineup of computers, sitar, guitars, bass, keyboards and vocals.
This band is a studio project, I guess. Most of the music here sounds computer generated.
This is the follow up to their self-titled debut from 2012.
That album was pretty heavy influenced by the psych pop and more avant-garde stuff The Beatles did at the end of their career.
We Are Beautiful is still a psych pop album and there is still a lot of The Beatles influences here. But the band has also moved past this millenium.
There are some Indian folk music incorporated into the psych pop. Sitar sounds is all around here. The female vocals is also here, floating on the top of the music.
The quality is still good but the band did not really master the art of good song writing. Hence they are a largely forgotten band.
But if psych pop with some avant garde bits thrown into the mix is your thing....
