The debut album from this band from France.
The band is an eight piece big band with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, violin, piano, keyboards, narrations and vocals.
Some guests added guitars, saxophone and vocals.
This album is the vision of Anne-Claire Rollo from Nine Skies and Solace Supplice. Some friends were invited in and the result is this concept album.
The concept is about two twinned souls who then are torn apart and then is trying to get reunited. The result is a good old concept album. Or you can also call it a rock opera.
Yes, rock opera is the best label here as there is some narrations and musicals like music here too. But I have now forgotten to label the music on this album...
The music is a mix of art-rock, pomp rock and neo-prog. Marillion springs to mind here but so does Nine Skies too.
The vocals are both male and female. They are also telling the story of the pair in the story. The twinned souls.
There are a couple of great guitar solos here and they are the highlights of this album. An album a bit short on good songs but which is still a good album as there is plenty of good details here.
Check out this album on their Bandcamp site.
