Peperi Partum - Peperi Partum (2014)

The one and only album from this band from Argentina.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, saxophone and vocals.

This is one of many bands who released one album and then disappeared again. It is also one of those albums I have yet to see reviewed.

So that is an injustice I hereby is correcting.

The music is a mix of King Crimson, fusion and jazz.

Mostly jazz, it has to be said. The melody structures are as intricate as those we are used to from King Crimson.

The music comes with a mix of guitars and saxophone. At the end of this album, we also get some vocals on a laid back jazzy song.

The music is surprisingly good and this is indeed an album well worth checking out.

There are some goodies out there among obscure albums and this album is one of them.
