The 16th album from this band from Sweden.
The band is a quartet this time with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
The band got support from a handful of guests who provided percussion, guitars, synths and vocals.
This is their fourth album since 2019 and the, what many assumed, as the end of the band in 2013. Their return has given us some four good albums. Their 2022 album By Royal Decree was in fact very good.
The band has returned to their original sound again after some flirting with fusion and other genres. Look At You Now is the band returning to their roots.
This means undiluted Scandinavian symphonic prog with lots of vocal harmonies and a some Swedish folk rock influences.
We get seventy minutes of this. The quality is great throughout and this album is one of the better albums the band has ever released. I am surprised. Positive surprised by this album.
