The third album from this band from USA.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
It is questionable if this band can be labeled a progressive rock band. At least, a traditional progressive rock band.
This also goes for this album. Take post-punk, add some jazz and a lot of indie rock. The result is pretty much art-rock.
The music is loud, brash and bold. It has this indie rock structure.
The thin, female like vocals takes a bit time to get used to. It is good but still untraditional.
The music is very much in the US indie rock style and it also has some prog influences. Hence the art-rock label.
The quality is somewhere between decent and good. This album is sorely lacking some better songs. That is my only gripe with this album.
