The one and only album from this guitarist from Norway.
Ivan did some guitars and composed all music on this album.
He got help from some guests who provided drums, percussion, bass, guitars, cowbells, accordion, grand piano and keyboards.
This is a new artist and album to me. It was posted by Ivan himself in a Facebook forum at the beginning of this year and I downloaded it and put it on my list of albums to review. The time has now arrived....
The music here is electric guitars based jazz and fusion. There are four guitarists here. Ivan and three pretty well known jazz and fusion guitarists. Frank Gambale, Allen Hinds and Brett Garsed. Virgil Donati is on drums too. In short, the musicians here are in the premier league.
And the result is this seventy-five minutes long album which is full of jazz and fusion. More jazz than fusion, it has to be said.
The guitar solos really, really smokes big time and should give those into guitar solos one heck of a great time.
The piano, drums and the bass is also impressive.
This album is a good album for progheads who want to explore the fusion and jazz genre. It is a very good album indeed and one to check out.
