Spacelords. The - Synapse (2014)

The third album from this band from Germany.

The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, sitar, vocals and synths.

This band from Germany has so far released seven albums and I am reviewing them this winter.

Their debut album was a good album while their second album was a bit of a let down. So my hopes was not the high when I started listening to Synapse.

We are again in the middle of space rock land. Pretty much bang in the centre of space rock land.

The frequent use of sitar is the only really deviation from the norm on this album. There are some vocals at the end of this album too and an organ sound.

The rest of the album is solid, gold standard groovy space rock.

The music is really groovy and a reminder why space rock is such a great music genre when it is done properly. The music is on the safe side. Nevertheless, the band manage to spice up the music, the four songs and forty odd minutes, with some interesting details.

The music is good throughout this album and it is an album space rock fans should check out.
