Ave Tierra - Ave Tierra (2007)

The debut album from this band from Argentina.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

Two guest added extra guitars.

Back in October 2012, by mistake I reviewed their second album Elefantes Negros as their debut album. I was wrong about describing it as their debut album. Besides of that, the album was pretty good.

I have now got their three remaining albums and will review them in the coming two weeks.

The band's debut album, this one, is one hour long.

The music is a mix of folk rock, hard rock, Latin prog rock, rock and post-punk.

The music is at times pretty hard and noisy. There is a couple of more pastoral pieces of music too. Most of the music is somewhere between mid-tempo and fast.

The Spanish vocals are good and the band does a good job here. The songs and the pieces of music is decent enough but never rise above this level. All their albums and EP are available on Bandcamp and worth checking out.
