Spinetta Jade - Bajo Belgrano (1983)

The third album from this band from Argentina.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, piano, organ, synths and vocals.

A guest added percussion on a couple of songs.

Luis Alberto Spinetta continued on with his band. Four albums, he released with this band before he disbanded the band. You can read my reviews of the first two albums and I will soon review the fourth and final album too.

The music on this album is a bit more poppy and more Latin-Pop than the two previous albums. The music is still laid back vocals based fusion. But this time.... with a more radio friendly Latin-Pop influence.

The vocals is really good and the band does a good job. There is some outbreaks of jazzy fusion here too. But most of the music on this forty minutes long album is songs with vocals.

The songs are pretty good. The fusion may be too laid back. Nevertheless, this is a warm and charming album. It is also a good album and one to check out.
