Reale Accademia Di Musica - Lame di Luce (2022)

The seventh album from this band from Italy.

The band is a quartet with a lineup of bass, guitars, synths, organ, piano and vocals.

They had help from two guests who supplied drums and organ.

This band album debuted with their selt-titled album back in 1972. A really good album, indeed.

Five albums then followed on an infrequent basis. Most of them after the comeback fifteen years ago.

The band is one of those classic RPI bands..... Symphonic prog from Italy, that is.

The vocals are both male and female. They are in Italian too.

The music is medium lenght piano and organ based songs without many interesting details. It is not RPI at all. It is more like Italian rock/pop.

It is not teenybopper either. The music is mature and grown up type of songs with a lot of melancholy.

The quality is somewhere between decent and good. It is not an album RPI fans would get out of respect for what this band released long time ago.

2.5 points
