The seventh album from this band from Germany.
The band is a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
I have had the pleasure of reviewing some of their earlier albums and I have liked them a lot.
I think it is fair to label this band and this album as eclectic prog. Their mix of progressive metal, post-metal, eclectic prog and baroque progressive rock is too far out avant-garde to really get the progressive metal fans to dig them.
Then again, the music has one foot in progressive metal. But the music is far from uncomplicated.
There is a lot of strange twists and turns on this three quarters of an hour long album.
The vocals is good and the band does a good job on some pretty strange, eclectic pieces of progressive rock.
The result is a good album which will appeal to anyone into muscular and eclectic prog.
