The fifth album from this band from Finland.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
This seventy-seven minutes long album was recorded live in a studio in front of a small audience.
Six of the songs are brand new and two of the songs are old songs. That means a studio album in my view.
The music is funeral doom and some pretty harsh funeral doom too.
The music is less harsh on this album than on the previous four albums. The vocals is less harsh and ditto for the guitars. This means a bit softer sound and songs.
The songs are long and epic.
There are even a couple of good songs here. The other songs are decent enough. There are also some good details here.
The keyboards also gives us some church organs like sounds.
The result is their best album to that date.
This album is well worth checking out.
