Frank Zappa does the bass, guitars and arrangements on this album.
He got help from a lot of guests who contributes with drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, woodwinds, symphony orchestra, narrations, choirs and vocals.
The is the soundtrack to a movie who also featured Ringo Starr and Keith Moon. The story in the film is some rock stars loosing the plot.
Which is exactly what Frank Zappa did by releasing this piece of music on a two hours long album. It does not help that the music on the album is mostly different from the music in the movie.
The music here is orchestral and most of time, based on spoken words.
The music is poor and so is the pieces who makes no sense. There are a couple of decent songs here and that is all. This is still an album best avoided and a turkey.
