The second album from this duo from Italy.
The duo is Cosimo D'Elia on vocals and Fransesco Festinante on drums, bass, guitars, electronics and backing vocals.
They had help from some guests who provided bass, violin, violinocello, trombone, keyboards, synths and backing vocals. Richard Sinclair (Caravan, Hatfield & The North) was again involved on bass.
Their 2020 debut album Tentacles And Miracles was an album with music somewhere between King Crimson, Picchio Dal Pozzo, Area and Porcupine Tree.
Very eclectic in other words and pretty heavy.
The duo changed to Italian vocals and moved their music a lot closer to RPI than before. The music is now indeed classic RPI.
The music is also pretty pastoral and folk rock'ish at times.
It is also pretty melodic and it has clearly been inspired and influenced by bands like Banco.
The vocals is pretty good and the instruments fits this music very well. It is a well crafted thirty-six minutes long album.
This is another new RPI band well worth checking out.
