The third album from this band from Finland.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
Two guest musicians added extra keyboards and female vocals on a couple of tracks.
This is a new band to me. They are a Bandcamp based band and released Nothingside through a major record label.
The band does a mix of progressive rock and classic rock on this album. They have also one song with retro 1980s pop music.
Take some Steve Hogarth era Marillion and add in some neo-prog too. Add some U2 too.
The vocals is very good and the best thing here.
The music is good...... but the 1980s pop song is pretty horrendous and gives the listener flashbacks to an era the listener could have been well without.
There is no killer tracks here and the band has some way to go when it comes to great song writing. The music is a bit bland.
This is still an album well worth checking out.
