Heron - Heron (1970)

The debut album from this band from England.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of percussion, bass, guitar, accordion, harp, piano, electric piano, organ and vocals.

This band was a prolific folk rock band and their first two albums has got a cult following. Albums I am reviewing this month.

I have just learned that the band is still active and released their new album some months ago. Their tenth or so album. Folk rock is not really my genre so I will leave the band in peace after the review of their second album.

The music on this album is straight folk rock with mostly piano, acoustic guitars and vocals. The references is Incredible String Band and... Bob Dylan.

The songs are decent with multiple layers of vocals and instruments.

The result is barely a decent album but still a decent album.

Fans of this genre should get this classic album from that genre.
