The debut album from this band from USA.
The band is a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, organs, synths and vocals.
This band has so far released two albums and I will review their second album sometimes soon.
The band has listed Yes, Camel, Goblin and King Crimson as references on their Bandcamp page.
The Roger Dean (Yes) artwork and the retro 1970s sound is a good reference too. Indeed, the band is mostly right when it comes to the references. Mostly.... because the music here is a mix of psych rock and neo-prog. There is even some of the dark harshness of Van Der Graaf Generator hanging around here.
The organs, the sound and the dark vibes makes this album a worthy purchase in itself. The quality of the songs leave a lot to be desired. The vocals are good, though.
This is a more than respectable debut album and we can only hope this band will continue their good work.
