Days Between Stations - Between Stations (2007)

The debut album from this band from USA.

The band was a duo with a lineup of bass, guitars, synths, vocoder, electronics and organ.

They had help from numerous guests who added drums, percussion, bass, guitars, woodwinds and vocals.

This band has so far released three albums and I got hold of two of them for review this summer.

Their music can best be described as a blend of post-rock and cinematic rock. There are also some Pink Floyd psych rock in their music too.

Most of the music is guitars and various synths driven. There are some really cool woodwinds, saxophone, trumpet and trombone, at the end of this one hour long album which makes the album interesting again after the album were loosing it's life after the forty minutes mark.

The first half of the album has some fairly good cinematic rock.

This album still falls a bit short. But those into more eclectic, cinematic rock should check out this album.
