The fourth album from this band from Japan.
The band is a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards, piccolo and flute.
This band is an interesting band. Throughout their first three albums, they have given us instrumental symphonic prog.
That is also the case on this album.
That means instrumental symphonic prog with a lot of flutes. In this case, also lots of piccolo flutes.
The references are both Camel and the Norwegian band Pymlico. That is from the top of my head.
The sound is both warm and organic. The guitars are restrained but also elegant. The piccolo and flutes has taken the role of the vocals.
The result is a good album from a band I really like. Check out their four albums.
