The fifth album from this band from France.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, piano, keyboards and samples.
I had given up on reviewing their albums ten years ago before I decided to review the last handful of albums I got with them. The fourth album was reviewed last month and I was no fan of that album.
The band is listed as a symphonic prog band. That is a genre rarely visited by this band.
On this album, we get a blend of minimalistic jazz and ambient music.
There is a lot of samples here and softly spoken music. These sixty fife minutes feels like one piece of music.
There is not much dynamic music on this album. It is mostly ambient, the music.
This album is not a turkey. There are a lot of decent stuff here. But most of this album falls a bit flat on it's face and does not really engage with the listener.
This is not an album I will recommend.
